Placing bunkers is almost vital in Hard and Brutal difficulty, in order to protect your marines from Banelings. Start pumping Marines and place additional bunkers as your marine count grows. The high ground will also give you a small advantage over the Zerg Roaches and Hydralisks, since they cannot attack your bunkers unless they have high ground vision.

This is because you will have only half the firepower if you split your army.
